DOE Launches New Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Advisory Committee

The U.S. Department of Energy announced the establishment of the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Advisory Committee (ERAC). ERAC will “provide advice to the Secretary of Energy to ensure that the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) continually focuses on transformative research to achieve technological innovations that move quickly into the marketplace, expedite green job growth, enhance our nation's energy security, and safeguard the environment. The Committee includes representation from a broad spectrum of expertise and experience including academia, technology development, project finance, economic development, and utilities.”
